Mural Gallery

The outside of Rocha Art is wrapped in a dozen murals that continually rotate every few months. The mural gallery is comprised of seven 12ft x 16ft panels visible from the busy 4th and Brannan corridor. Other murals wrap the roof of Rocha Art, and extend onto our neighbors buildings on Freelon St. Artists include Cannon Dill, Mike Shine, Ian Ross, Zio Ziegler, RISK, Max Ehrman, Ricky Watts, Eddie Colla, Griffin One, Cryptik, Hueman, INSA, and many more. All murals are courtesy of the 1 Bush Initiative. Stop by and see the latest.

1 Brush Initiative

1 Brush Initiative is a San Francisco-based non-profit that facilitates public art projects and empowers youth by giving them access to hands-on arts education. 1 Brush recruits professional artists to lead workshops and mentor young people at underserved schools and in the juvenile justice system. Through their educational and public art endeavors, they hope to give youth the tools to express themselves in positive ways and brighten San Francisco’s neighborhoods with engaging public art.
